The rising heavyweight reacted to recent comments surrounding Tom Aspinall's future while once again targeting Alex Pereira on social media.

Josh Hokit has once again stirred controversy on social media. After previously targeting former UFC champion Alex Pereira with personal insults, the undefeated heavyweight reacted to recent comments about Tom Aspinall's future while campaigning for a fight against Cyril Gane.

Josh Hokit Targets Aspinall, Gane and Pereira

It seems Josh Hokit can't stop making headlines with his trash talk. Over the past few weeks, the American heavyweight has sparked controversy with a series of provocative comments, including calling former two-division champion Alex Pereira "an alcoholic."

Now, riding the momentum of his recent rise in the heavyweight rankings, Hokit has once again taken to X to target some of the biggest names in the division.

In his post, Hokit claimed that Tom Aspinall had "lost his aura," referred to Cyril Gane as the division's "undisputed champion," and even suggested the UFC should release the British champion from his contract. He also called for a fight against Gane, adding that he would then give Pereira "a chance to get his self-esteem back."

Hokit's comments came shortly after boxing promoter Eddie Hearn suggested during an interview with iFL TV that UFC CEO Dana White should allow Aspinall to leave the promotion in order to test the open market.

Josh Hokit Continues Campaign Against Pereira

The American continues to single out Pereira whenever possible. The feud began before UFC Freedom 250, when Hokit insulted the Brazilian's mother during the pre-fight press conference. A few weeks later, he escalated his attacks by referring to the former two-division champion as "an alcoholic." His latest post added yet another jab at "Poatan" while discussing the heavyweight title picture.

Josh Hokit Gains Momentum in Division

Still undefeated in his professional MMA career, Hokit has now won 10 consecutive fights, including three knockout victories in his four UFC appearances. A decorated wrestler with heavy hands, the American has climbed to No. 4 in the heavyweight rankings and appears determined to insert himself into the title conversation.
