The Noche UFC 4 card has suffered another setback less than two weeks before the event. The featherweight bout between top prospects Rodrigo Vera and Ramiro Jimenez has been canceled after the Peruvian fighter had issues with his visa paperwork. The UFC has announced Jessie Rosas vs. Sean King as the replacement bout, with both fighters set to make their UFC debuts on Sept. 12.

The matchup between Vera and Jimenez was a promising one, expected to feature high-volume striking. Both fighters have great momentum, with Vera currently riding a 14-fight winning streak while Jimenez is undefeated with an 11-0 record. However, the matchup will no longer take place after Vera ran into visa issues. The Peruvian fighter took to social media to explain the situation.
"Well, the fight on September 12th won't be able to take place, mostly due to a visa paperwork issue that didn't come through on time," Vera said on an Instagram Story. "My apologies to Ramiro, it was going to be an excellent fight. And well, I wish you all the best and hope you find a super-fast replacement. And well, on my end, I'll keep training, and I'll keep you updated on what's to come."
Noche UFC 4 Loses Second Fight From Original Lineup
This marks the second fight from the original Noche UFC 4 lineup to be removed in recent weeks. Yair Rodriguez was forced to withdraw from his main event bout against Jean Silva after suffering a groin injury, with Jose Delgado stepping in on short notice to replace him.
Now, Jessie Rosas vs. Sean King will take the place of Vera vs. Jimenez. Rosas was originally scheduled to make his UFC debut against Miles Johns at UFC Vegas 120 before being forced out of the fight, while King was initially expected to compete on Dana White's Contender Series.
Noche UFC 4 is scheduled for Sept. 12 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The event will also feature former UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno vs. Joseph Morales.
