PFL Washington DC Results: Thad Jean vs Ernesto Rodriguez

The Professional Fighters League is making its way to the capital to crown a welterweight champion. From the CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C., two of the best welterweights outside the UFC will look to make a name for themselves worldwide with one becoming champion.

PFL Washington DC Main Event: Thad Jean, Ernesto Rodriguez Clash for Vacant Championship

2025 PFL World Tournament Winner and #3-ranked Thad Jean (11-0) will take on #8-ranked fighter Ernesto Rodriguez (11-1) to determine a welterweight champion. Rodriguez replaces Shamil Musaev, who was having weight-cut complications. This was announced by PFL CEO John Martin on Thursday on social media.

Despite the last-minute change, the fight will still be a display of two of the highest-level welterweights outside the UFC.

Co-Main Event: Light Heavyweights Clash With Tyson Pedro vs Rafael Xavier

In one of the most anticipated light heavyweight fights in PFL, #8-ranked Tyson Pedro will take on #10-ranked Rafael Xavier. With two contestants who are coming for a knockout, this fight is likely going to not go beyond the first round.

The rest of the card will feature fights with some of the top-ranked fighters, including Sullivan Caulley vs Rasul Magomedov, Michael Cyr vs Bryce Meredith, and many other great matchups
