"You’re Never Going To See Me Leave" - UFC Veteran Makes Bold Career Admission

A UFC veteran who has been a part of the promotion since 2013 is game to fight forever.
40-year-old lightweight contender King Green has been a part of the UFC for more than a decade. The American boasts a pro-MMA record of 36 wins, 18 losses, and 1 draw.
Green was riding a four-fight winning streak before it came to an end at UFC 332. His recklessness and showboating proved costly as Esteban Ribovics dropped him numerous times and eventually knocked him out in the first round. Green was unhappy with the stoppage and blamed referee Herb Dean, believing the fight was stopped too early.
King Green Back at Square One
If Green had extended his winning streak to five at the aforementioned numbered event, he could have potentially fought for the BMF title or even earned a shot at the undisputed lightweight championship with a few more wins. But now, he’s once more back to the drawing board.
Despite the latest setback, Green insists that fans will never see him walk away from the sport. On the WEIGHING IN Podcast, he said:
“I'm a fighter till I die. You're never going to see me leave, okay? You're just going to be like, 'Whatever happened to that guy?' And I just might be dead one day. You're like, man, he died. Yes, he died... But I'm a fighter till the end. There is no quit... Till the wheels fall off. fighter at heart.”

Merab Dvalishvili, who is now 35 years old, also wants to keep fighting forever. Dvalishvili is scheduled to run it back with current and two-time bantamweight titleholder Petr Yan later this month at UFC 333.
During a recent sit-down with Din Thomas, "The Machine" opined he wants to fight forever. Although the Georgian phenom acknowledged that age could eventually make it difficult to compete with younger and hungrier contenders, he suggested that he could take part in super fights rather than hang up his gloves. Dvalishvili said:
“If I’m being honest, I want to fight forever. I know I can’t, of course; I’m not stupid. The guys that are coming up now, I don’t know if they’re born like that, but they’re super talented... I realize maybe 5 years from now I won’t be in the top, but I still wanna fight and maybe do some super fights.”
