UFC Vegas 121 with Awesome Main Card Saturday!

UFC Vegas 121 fight week rolls on. This Saturday, the fall schedule of events for the UFC begins at the promotion's homebase of Enterprise, NV. 

Meta Apex serves as the setting for this weekend's activities inside the fabled Octagon. Live coverage of UFC Vegas 121 begins at 5 pm ET/ 2 pm PT on Saturday afternoon with the prelims. Inside the United States of America, the card can be seen via Paramount Plus.

Main card action, including the live finale of this year's season of The Ultimate Fighter television series, caps the night at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT. Although the 12-fight card is intact for Saturday night, there's been a slight change to one of the bouts.

The planned middleweight contest that was to have matched Mickey Gall against Sedriques Dumas on the undercard has been postponed after Gall encountered medical issues, as was confirmed by the UFC. Dumas will instead face off with Luis Hernandez in a light heavyweight fight.

UFC Vegas 121 Main Event: No. 12 Contender Raul Rosas Jr. vs. No. 13 Contender Raoni Barcelos: Rosas Aiming for Sixth Straight Win

At the top of the bill on Saturday night, the bantamweights go to battle for a contest matching No. 12 contender Raul Rosas Jr. (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) with No. 13 contender Raoni Barcelos (22-5 MMA, 11-4 UFC.) This main event is an advertised maximum of five rounds at five minutes per round to close the show.

Raul Rosas Jr. enters UFC Vegas 121 on Saturday night having posted a 5-0 record in his last five bouts dating back to September of 2023. This is his second walk to the Octagon in 2026.

Back on the night of March 7, he scored a unanimous decision victory over Rob Font (22-10 MMA, 12-9 UFC) after 15 minutes of action on the main card.

While he hasn't been seen in the cage under MMA rules in more than six months, he's kept himself busy in the interim, scoring a rear-naked choke of Khasan Magomedsharipov during ACBJJ 21 this past July.  His opponent across the way, however, has proven himself to be a tough opponent.

Raoni Barcelos With Five-Fight Winning Streak of His Own

Raoni Barcelos is also 5-0 in his last five fights. Unlike Rosas, however, Barcelos hasn't had grappling matches in the time between fights in the UFC. 

On the night of April 25 inside Meta Apex, he bested Montel Jackson (15-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC) by split decision at Meta Apex. This was Jackson's second loss in succession. With both fighters on hot streaks coming into this main event, it'll be moving day on Saturday night in the bantamweight ranks.

UFC Vegas 121 Co-Main Event: Rodolfo Vieira vs. Robert Bryczek: Vieira Eager to Get Back to Victory Lane

Immediately beforehand, the co-main event of UFC Vegas 121 takes place in the middleweight division for a battle between Rodolfo Vieira (11-5 MMA, 6-5 UFC) and Robert Bryczek (18-7 MMA, 1-2 UFC.) This fight is a three-round affair at five minutes per round.

Vieira enters UFC Vegas 121 on a record of 2-3 in his last five outings dating back to November of 2024. He's on a two-fight losing streak, however. 

On April 26, he dropped a unanimous decision at the hands of Eric McConico (11-5-1 MMA, 2-3 UFC) at Meta Apex. To find the last time that Vieira had a winning streak, you'd need to travel back to 2024, when he registered three straight victories across all competitions. 

How will he fare here? Only time will tell.

Robert Bryczek Looking to Shake Off May Defeat

Meanwhile, Robert Bryczek is 3-2 in his last five fights dating back to his tenure in OKTAGON MMA. On May 2, he trekked to Perth for a fight against Cam Rowston (15-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC.)

This fight was the latter's seventh victory in succession dating back to May of 2024, and the first in his current winning streak to go the distance. Rowston is due to return Oct. 24 during UFC 333 against Abus Magomedov.

UFC Vegas 121: The Ultimate Fighter Bantamweight Final: Ilimbek Alkylbek vs. Mahammadali Osmanli: Alkylbek Looking for Third Straight Pro Win

This season on The Ultimate Fighter television series, bantamweights and strawweights have vied for a UFC contract. After a 12-episode season, four fighters have survived to advance to the live finale. At bantamweight, Ilimbek Alkylbek (10-3 MMA) and Mahammadali Osmanli (12-1 MMA) are the finalists returning to the Apex for the final fight on the bracket.

Alykylbek saw both his quarterfinal and semifinal fights on TUF go to the scorecards, winning in the quarterfinal by split decision versus Sean Moura and in the semifinal by unanimous decision against Xavier Franklin. Unlike the quarterfinal and semifinal phases, the TUF final counts toward the fighters' pro records.

As far as professional competitions go, he's 3-2 in his last five bouts and has won two fights in a row. In December of last year, he scored a fourth-round submission (rear-naked choke) over Mo Miller (9-8 MMA) in AFP 104 in Euclid, OH, near Cleveland. Does he trade the AFP Bantamweight Championship for a UFC deal?

Mahammad Osmanli Goes into TUF Finale Hunting for Fourth Straight Submission

In the other corner, Mahammad Osmanli enters the finale on the strength of a 5-0 record in his last five pro fights and is currently on a nine-fight winning streak in professional MMA. If you count his fights on TUF this season, that streak runs up to 11 wins.

He's submitted his way through the bantamweight bracket in this tournament, locking in a rear-naked choke on Artem Belakh in the first round of the quarterfinal phase and following it up with a buggy choke in the second round of the semifinal. As far as his last pro fight is concerned, he secured a second-round guillotine against Baktovhar Yunusov (11-1-1 MMA) in UAE Warriors 65 last November.

He's got three submission wins in a row, but does he pick up his fourth?
