Germaine de Randamie Picks Amanda Nunes over Kayla Harrison for UFC 334

UFC Legend Germaine de Randamie expresses her thoughts on Kayla Harrison vs. Amanda Nunes at UFC 334.
Former UFC champion Germaine de Randamie recently spoke with Combat Sports Fan Page. 'The Iron Lady' became the first UFC women's featherweight champion by defeating Holly Holm. She also holds victories over world champions like Julianna Pena, Raquel Pennington, and Larissa Pacheco.
Germaine has also fought Amanda Nunes twice. Even though both times she failed to beat 'The Lioness', she has valuable experience of sharing the cage for 28-plus minutes with one of the most decorated female UFC champions.
When I asked Germaine's thoughts on the upcoming blockbuster fight between Kayla Harrison and Amanda Nunes at UFC 334, she mentioned that the fight is tough but showed her support for her ex-rival, Nunes:
"It's going to be a tough fight. You know, but Kayla Harrison, it's shown by Larissa Pacheco who I fought, is beatable. Absolutely. I think Amanda's very motivated the way I see her train, you know, and yeah, may the best one win, but you know, Amanda has a special place, you know, she and I, we shared the cage. We have a lot of respect for each other. So of course I will be rooting for Amanda. No doubt."
Germaine de Randamie Breaks Down Harrison vs. Nunes
The UFC women's bantamweight title fight is the co-main event at UFC 334 in Madison Square Garden, New York City. Kayla Harrison will defend her title for the first time against the former double champ, Amanda Nunes.
It's a dream fight that showcases two of the most accomplished female combatants going head-to-head at the highest level of this sport.
'The Iron Lady' also gave us insights on how Nunes could take the victory and beat the two-time Olympic gold medalist:
"I believe on the ground even Amanda can beat her up. I believe. You know, if Amanda is top position, I believe she can keep the top position on Kayla Harrison. If I were Amanda, my advice would be pick her apart on feet, you know, keep the pressure on Kayla Harrison, put her on her heels, because Kayla she has a shot, you know, a wrestling shot, but she likes to take people more down in the clinch. I think keep the pressure high, but you know, with the punches, long-reach punches, because I think she has longer limbs than Kayla Harrison and just keep her, yeah, keep her on the heels, keep her with her back against the fence, facing the fence, so Amanda has to fight from the middle of the cage. And a lot of pressure.
A lot of pressure. Rain her down with punches."
Considering Kayla's ultra-strong grappling credentials and Amanda's vast experience in top-level MMA, this strategy looks pretty solid.
