The UFC veterans will meet in October as Fili looks to snap a two-fight losing streak and Kamaka seeks to rebound from a recent TKO loss.

Although Andre Fili has lost his two Octagon appearances this year, the American has a new fight booked. The UFC featherweight is set to face Kai Kamaka III at UFC Vegas 122 on Oct. 10, according to a report by MMA Junkie, although the UFC is still expected to make an official announcement. The matchup adds another experienced fighter to the event's card.

Andre Fili Returns to Action

With more than a decade competing in the UFC and 27 fights in the promotion, Fili has faced several notable names throughout his career. However, the 35-year-old has gone through a rough stretch in recent years, compiling a 2-4 record since 2024. Fili will now make his third UFC appearance of the year looking to get back on track after losing his last two fights, including a TKO defeat to Vinicius Oliveira.

Kai Kamaka III Looks To Bounce Back

Kamaka, meanwhile, returned to the UFC this year after parting ways with the promotion in 2021. During his time away, the American competed under the Bellator, PFL and Tuff-N-Uff banners before earning another opportunity with the UFC.

Since returning to the promotion earlier this year, Kamaka has stepped into the Octagon twice, compiling a 1-1 record. The featherweight will now try to rebound from a TKO loss to Luke Riley in his last fight.

The matchup gives both featherweights an opportunity to regain momentum in a competitive division as UFC Vegas 122 continues to take shape.
