Andre Fili's Manifestation Comes Full Circle After UFC Moment

Andre Fili's manifestation came full circle after a UFC moment. Hear how an 11" TV and The Ultimate Fighter set the veteran on his path
While some fighters are busy chasing titles, others chase a feeling they had as a kid. For Andre Fili, a post-fight moment brought a long-held belief back around, and it all began in front of a tiny television screen.
Andre Fili: From an 11-Inch TV to the Octagon
Fili's passion for the sport ignited long before he ever set foot in the cage. In a post-fight interview about his calling in life, he reflected on his life's journey, taking his fans back to where it all started.
"I saw the UFC on my little Sony TV, on my 11" TV," Andre Fili began. "I watched The Ultimate Fighter in 200-whatever," Fili said. "I decided I was going to do this the rest of my life."
It's a simple original story, and that's what makes it resonate. There was no grand plan or perfect circumstances, just a kid watching fighters on a small screen and deciding that was his future.
A Calling That Never Wavered
Fili didn't just express a desire to fight; he committed to it for life. After around 13 years of competing in the UFC, that decision transformed a mere childhood daydream into a prophecy that he consistently honored.
Since his Octagon debut in 2012, the Team Alpha Male featherweight has experienced memorable victories alongside difficult losses, including knockout defeats to Yair Rodriguez and Dan Ige. Even after nearly 13 years in the promotion, Fili continues to evolve, embracing younger training partners and new challenges rather than settling into old habits.
At 36, he showed that resilience once again at UFC Vegas 122, snapping a two-fight losing streak with a stunning head-kick knockout of Kai Kamaka III in the second round.
For Fili, the Octagon isn’t just a place he watches from the sidelines anymore. It’s been the backdrop of his adult life, and the very sport that fueled his childhood dreams is now igniting passion in his own fans. His message is straightforward: If you recognize your true calling, pour your heart and soul into it.
