In a huge tussle, Andrew Leone (6-2) has blown his knee and he will not be competing in this week’s ONE FC 10: Champions & Warriors main event. He was scheduled to face former Shooto champ Shinichi Kojima (13-5-5).

Leone, on Facebook, said, “Sorry to everyone, especially Indonesia and ONE Fighting Championship. First time I’ve ever pulled out of a fight. I hurt my knee real bad and it’s looking like there’s a slight tear in my mcl. Really disappointing and I feel I owe a lot of people a apology, I know it’s a injury just a real crappy situation. Super grateful to all of you guys who support me and my sponsors for always being there for me Klipsch, Grips Athletic and Phuket top team.

Will be flying to New York in a few days to see if I need a scopeing surgery and do what I gotta do to get back on the mat.”

With just two days left, ONE FC opted to scratch the match-up altogether, instead of finding a new opponent for Kojima.

Yasuhiro Urushitani (20-6-6) was initially slated to face Kojima, however, he was replaced by Leone. Now, Leone is out as well.

As a result, the co-main 155-lbs clash between Kotetsu Boku (20-8) and Vuyisile Colossa (5-4) has been named the new main event. This match-up has been tipped by many to win “Fight of the Night” honors.
