Salahdine Parnasse reveals he is already back in training after his impressive UFC debut and first-round KO win over Dan Hooker at UFC Paris.
Salahdine Parnasse made his UFC debut last weekend. He finished UFC veteran Dan Hooker in the first round to secure the victory. This performance has earned him the performance of the night bonus.
Most fighters would have taken time off from training to celebrate with friends and family, but that was not the case with Parnasse, who secured the biggest win of his career last weekend. He has now revealed that he has already started training. That shows why he is among the great MMA fighters.
Salahdine Parnasse reveals why he returned to training so quickly
Speaking on ‘The Ariel Helwani Show’, the former KSW champion shared that he likes to train and pointed out that he suffered no damage in his fight against Hooker, as he knocked out the UFC veteran at 2:35 of the first round, which made it possible to be back in training quickly after the win.
“I always want to train,” Parnasse said via a translator. “I have no damage from the fight Saturday night."
Parnasse revealed that he is training in Madrid, Spain, and stressed that getting back into the gym was never a difficult decision for him because he simply loves training.
“Right now we are in Madrid, and we just got out from the gym, and then we had the interview. I always want to train… I’m born to fight,” Parnasse continued.

With victory over Hooker, Parnasse found himself in the top 10-ranked UFC lightweight. He is ranked 9th in the division, has called out fourth-ranked Max Holloway, and has said he wants to fight again before the end of the year.

In the above-mentioned video, Parnasse, who called out Holloway after his impressive win over Hooker, has doubled down on the callout. He feels the ‘Blessed' would be a perfect opponent for him, noting that both do not like to trash-talk and could potentially deliver a war of a fight for the fans.
“Look at my face. It’s clean. Tomorrow, I’m ready, ”Parnasse said. “Max Holloway would be the perfect fight. He likes challenges, and I think we could have a very good war together. I have a lot of respect for Max, and I don’t like trash talk -- that’s not my personality.”
The former KSW champion has also welcomed a challenge from anyone from the top 5 of the UFC lightweight division.
“I’m ready for anyone in the top five,” Parnasse added.
