Mike Perry and Dillon Danis trade comedic NSFW jibes in epic call before Duel: Arena MMA fight

Mike Perry and Dillon Danis are set to clash in a highly anticipated welterweight MMA matchup. 

Perry and Danis partook in a video conversation to promote the same, wherein they ended up engaging in some lighthearted banter and produced a few moments of pure comedy.

Mike Perry departed the UFC MMA organization back in 2021 and has since tried his hand at various combat sports challenges, including a Triad Combat match, a professional boxing bout against influencer-cum-boxer Jake Paul, and a tremendously successful bare-knuckle boxing run. 

Perry solidified himself as a superstar of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), even notching its symbolic King of Violence belt. However, he hasn't competed in the BKFC since last October when he TKO'd fellow UFC veteran Jeremy Stephens to defend the aforementioned belt. 

The Flint, Michigan-born Orlando, Florida-based combatant did make his MMA comeback, though, after a five-year hiatus. He beat the legendary former UFC star Nate Diaz via a cut-induced TKO at the inaugural MVP MMA event in May.

Nevertheless, many fans have speculated about whether he'd ever return to the sport he found the most success in, which is bare-knuckle boxing, and under the Conor McGregor-co-owned BKFC promotional banner.

Interestingly, he even faced off with BKFC three-division titlist Lorenzo Hunt in Naples a few weeks ago. Elsewhere, Perry's longtime rival and former UFC fighter Darren Till is also making waves in the BKFC and has vowed to defeat Yoel Romero and then beat Perry, too. 

Presently, Perry is set to headline the inaugural Duel: Arena hybrid combat sports event -- featuring boxing, kickboxing, and MMA fights. It's being promoted by online crypto casino DuelBet. "Platinum" takes on BJJ champion Dillon Danis, who's 3-0 as an MMA fighter but a fight game veteran and RAF star as well. Danis even competed for Bellator MMA in the past.

During their latest appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show hosted by veteran MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, the reigning BKFC King of Violence champion Mike Perry and the inaugural Misfits MMA light heavyweight champion Dillon Danis touched upon their upcoming MMA clash. 

Their conversation ran for nearly an hour and saw relentless trash talk, jokes, and even mutual respect being directed by the two athletes at one another. Helwani notably suggested that he was amazed by their entertaining ribbing and that they could probably start a podcast together. 

Additionally, Danis, at one point, seemingly jested that Perry could help him procure recreational drugs, what with the fight taking place on his home turf of Orlando, Florida. The knockout artist scoffed at the idea. 

Also, Danis appeared to jokingly accuse Perry of having used banned PEDs (Performance Enhancing Drugs). Their give-and-take on that topic resulted in Perry sounding off on his foe. 

On that note, Danis stated, "You're so easy to ragebait. Look at you. I can't wait till the press conference. You're so easy to ragebait." Perry responded by saying, "Please ragebait me when I'm f**king in front of you. Please ragebait me." 

Well, "El Jefe" subsequently seemed to jibe at Perry's movement, his footwork, in particular, noting, "You have no footwork. You can't even walk forward without tripping over your own two feet... You're going to trip right into a submission." 

Perry hilariously hit back with an NSFW jibe, warning, "I'm gonna trip my ba**s on your forehead." To that, Danis made a comedic remark, noting, "Then I must submit your ba**s." 

Perry asserted that there's no way it'd happen, while a snickering Danis added, "Someone needed to give you a vasectomy by now. I'll give it to you." 

Moreover, "Platinum" fired back by claiming that he's built like a bodybuilder, alluding that he has a better physique than Danis. The BJJ savant then insinuated that Perry was short in stature. 

Ariel Helwani chimed in and asked Perry to take his shirt off and display his physique, a request the ex-UFC welterweight star and BKFC icon obliged. That, in turn, led to another comedic exchange of the two fighters trading funny verbal jabs.
