Rambolek Stripped of ONE World Title After Missing Weight, Promises Finish Against Yod-IQ

Should Rambolek win the contest, the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title will remain vacant.

Rambolek claimed the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship in March by defeating Nabil Anane via unanimous decision in a five-round battle at The Inner Circle 7, capping a six-fight winning streak built at Superbon Training Camp under the guidance of reigning ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon.

Rambolek Rates Yod-IQ's Durability but Backs His Own Stopping Power

The weight miss places Rambolek in a difficult position, but the former champion has not let the circumstances distract from a focused breakdown of the opponent across from him.

"Yod-IQ's style is solid and durable. In his fight against Kiamran, he faded slightly down the stretch, but our technical styles share similarities. That said, I believe I carry significantly more stopping power in my strikes," Rambolek said.

His 8-2 ONE record and 68-14 career mark reflect a young former champion who rose rapidly through ONE Friday Fights before becoming the division's top dog at just 23 years old.

Former King Warns He Has Found Yod-IQ's Weaknesses

For all the public analysis, Rambolek has kept the most important part of his game plan under wraps. The former champion has identified vulnerabilities in Yod-IQ's game that he has no intention of telegraphing before the fight begins.

"You have to stay sharp against everything he throws. He's a well-rounded striker with a complete arsenal. He definitely has weaknesses, but you'll have to tune in on fight night to see us exploit them," he explained.

Yod-IQ's 127-36 career striking record and 10-fight ONE winning streak make him a well-rounded challenger who has earned his title shot against every level of opposition the division has thrown at him. And he promised to go for the knockout at The Inner Circle 30.

The weight miss has done nothing to dampen Rambolek's competitive fire. The former champion has made his intention for the night completely clear, and the challenge he is sending to Yod-IQ is as direct as it gets.

"I'm aiming for the finish. Just don't get caught by my strikes – if he thinks he can take them, let's test it. I have complete trust in my power; I've put plenty of fighters on the canvas before," he declared.

The stakes on September 11 are now uniquely asymmetric. Yod-IQ can win the world title. Rambolek can only win the fight. That difference in available outcomes gives the former champion a specific kind of pressure that no previous bout in his career has produced.
