UFC Macau: How to Watch and Full Fight Card

UFC Macau takes place Saturday from Galaxy Arena. During the main event of UFC Macau, Song Yadong looks to make a return to the win column against Deiveson Figueiredo at bantamweight. Prior to that, the co-main event of the night sees light heavyweights do battle when Zhang Mingyang clashes with Alonso Menifield.

For much of his run in the UFC, Yadong has proven to be a stern 135-lb contender, evident by his amazing triumphs over Ricky Simón, Marlon Vera, and Henry Cejudo. Losing a controversial decision to previous incumbent Sean O’Malley in his last cage outing at UFC 324, it seems like only a matter of time until “The Kung Fu Kid” takes that next big leap into top contender status.

Having secured an undeniable legacy at 125-lb, Figueiredo moved up to bantamweight in 2023, quickly racking up three straight wins. Although he has largely struggled to topple the elite of the elite in the division, “Deus Da Guerra” possesses the sheer punching power to turn the tables with a single blow.

In his last bout against Johnny Walker last year at UFC Shanghai, Zhang found himself on the wrong end of a second round knockout, bringing an end to his once extensive 12-fight winning streak. Putting on the four-ounce gloves once more to defend his home turf, "Mountain Tiger” is seeking to leap back into the win column at the expense of the consciousness of Menifield.

 With 13 of his 17 victories as a professional ending via stoppage, Menifield’s opponents are always playing with fire the minute they step into the Octagon with him. Although a sound first round knockout loss to Volkan Oezdemir last November at UFC Qatar put him back to square one, “Atomic” remains optimistic about putting together another strong run towards UFC gold.
