UFC Vegas 113 Staff Picks

The Meta Apex plays host to the UFC’s first Fight Night event of the Paramount+ era this weekend. After two back-to-back numbered shows, UFC Vegas 113 brings the heat to the Las Vegas strip, with bantamweight contenders duking it out in the main event. Mario Bautista crosses paths with Vinicius Oliveira. Before that, flyweight mainstay Amir Albazi seeks to reenter the win column by stemming the onslaught of Kyoji Horiguchi.

UFC Vegas 113 Main Event

From 2022 to 2025, Bautista had enjoyed a seemingly unassailable warpath through the 135-lb division, taking out stellar competition during his eight-fight win streak, including Ricky Simon, Jose Aldo and Patchy Mix. After being booted from the ranks of the victorious in his last contest by Umar Nurmagomedov, the MMA Lab representative is eager to rejoin the competitive race towards the title.

In a weight class filled with a wide array of amazing strikers, Oliveira stands out for his sheer power, owning 16 victories by knockout as a professional. Undefeated since 2022, “Lok Dog” and his heavy hands are preparing for a fruitful and destructive run in this year.

Returning to the fray after a more than one-year layoff due to a major surgery, Albazi steps into the cage with a clean bill of health. Locking horns with one of the most credentialed Japanese names in mixed martial arts history, “The Prince” can establish himself as a top-tier threat at flyweight should he manage to dismantle his surging adversary in convincing fashion.

Making his way back to the UFC after nine years away, Horiguchi put the 125-lb division on notice last November when he tapped out Tagir Ulanbekov at UFC Fight Night 265. Wasting no time in continuing his attempted ascension up the ladder, “The Typhoon” aims to bring a storm of excitement to the Apex this Saturday.

More Bouts On the UFC 325 Main Card

Rounding out the main card, heavyweight submission specialist Jailton Almeida meets Rizvan Kuniev. Then, Michal Oleksiejczuk looks to add more to his middleweight winning streak by toppling Marc-André Barriault. Also, bantamweight prospect Farid Basharat goes toe-to-toe with late-notice replacement Gianni Vazquez. Finally, light heavyweight luminary Dustin Jacoby tests himself against Julius Walker.

UFC Vegas 113 Predictions and Staff Picks

MMASucka staff picks are composed of four of the world’s leading mixed martial arts organizations: the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the Professional Fighters League (PFL), ONE Championship (ONE FC), and Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS).

  • UFC picks will include main card fights ranging from four to six matchups per event.
  • PFL picks from main cards for pay-per-views and from tournament fights in the Regular Season, Playoffs, and Finals.
