UFC 332 with Electric Main Card to Begin October Slate

UFC 332 takes place Saturday from Delta Center. We take a look at the main card:
UFC 332 fight week rolls on. As the calendar turns to October, the spooky season takes hold with tricks and treats being the order of the day. MMA's No. 1 promotion, the UFC, wastes little time in providing some treats.
Delta Center in Salt Lake City serves as the setting for UFC 332 on Saturday night. Live coverage of UFC 332 starts at an earlier time of 4 pm ET/ 1 pm PT Saturday afternoon with the early prelims.
Stateside, this portion of UFC 332 can be seen as a simulcast on Paramount Plus and UFC Fight Pass. Late prelims follow at 6 pm ET/ 3 pm PT on Paramount Plus before moving onto the main card at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT on Paramount Plus and the CBS Television Network after Big Ten football between Ohio State and Iowa, making UFC 332 the first event from the UFC to have its main card aired by CBS.
UFC 332 Main Event: UFC Women's Flyweight Championship: No. 1 Contender Natalia Silva vs. No. 8 Contender Wang Cong: Silva Looks to Continue Hot Streak
All told, UFC 332 features a 14-fight card from Dana White's promotion on Saturday. Supremacy at 125 lbs serves as the focus of the main event. The Vacant UFC Women's Flyweight Championship will be at stake when No. 1 contender Natalia Silva (21-5-1 MMA, 8-0 UFC) faces off against No. 8 contender Wang Cong (10-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC.) This is a five-round fight at five minutes per round.
Natalia Silva enters UFC 332 on the strength of a 5-0 record in her last five fights. She's on a 14-fight winning streak ahead of this weekend's title fight. On the night of Jan. 24 during UFC 324 inside T-Mobile Arena, she scored a unanimous decision victory after three rounds of action over Rose Namajunas (14-8 MMA, 12-7 UFC.)
Earlier on in fight week, Silva spoke about competing for the title.
"This is incredible," she said to UFC.com. "It wasn't easy, but I did my job and this opportunity, it's very, very emotional for me because this is my dream."
With another victory on Saturday, the title will be hers.
Wang Cong Eager to Rise from No. 8 to Champ at 125
Meanwhile, Wang Cong has a record of 4-1 in her last five bouts. She owns a four-fight winning streak ahead of UFC 332 on Saturday night.
On July 11 during UFC 329, she emerged victorious by way of unanimous decision versus Tracy Cortez (12-4 MMA, 6-3 UFC) after three rounds. While some pundits and fans alike have sounded off on the booking of this headliner, this main event is a tremendous opportunity for Cong and her camp.
Having been unbeaten in her last four bouts, the stakes are high for the No. 8 contender on Saturday night. Will she end Silva's winning streak?
UFC 332 Co-Main Event: No. 9 Contender Deiveson Figueiredo vs. No. 12 Contender Payton Talbott: Figueiredo Looking to Stop Skid
Immediately beforehand, the UFC 332 co-main event takes place in the bantamweight division. No. 9 contender Deiveson Figueiredo (25-7-1 MMA, 14-7-1 UFC) battles No. 12 contender Payton Talbott (11-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC.) This is a three-round fight at five minutes per round.
Deiveson Figueiredo will be making the walk on Saturday night with a mark of 1-4 in his last five trips to the cage. Coming into Saturday, he's lost two fights in a row.
Back on May 30, he was on the receiving end of a second-round submission due to guillotine choke from Song Yadong (24-9-1, 1 NC MMA, 13-4-1 UFC) in UFC Macau's main event. To find the last time that he had a sustained winning streak, you'd need to travel to August of 2024, after he won three in a row.
Figueiredo has a tough challenge ahead of him this weekend, however.
Payton Talbott Finally Makes 2026 Debut
Across the way, Payton Talbott, the former A1 Combat Bantamweight Champion, has gone 4-1 in his past five showcases. At the moment, he's won two in a row.
Talbott will be making his first walk to the cage in 10 months' time this weekend. Last December, he sent Henry Cejudo (16-6 MMA, 10-6 UFC) into retirement with a unanimous decision victory during UFC 323.
With 10 months away, ring rust is a concern for Talbott and his camp. How much does he have?
UFC 332: King Green vs. Esteban Ribovics: Seasoned Vet Looking for Fifth Straight Victory
Also on the UFC 332 main card, fans will be treated to a lightweight bout matching King Green (35-17-1, 1 NC MMA, 17-12-1, 1 NC UFC) against Esteban Ribovics (16-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC.) Green will be competing in his 56th pro fight Saturday.
He'll be doing so with a 4-1 record in his last five outings. He's gotten his hand raised in victory four times in a row, including a first-round knockout with one second left on the clock versus Terrance McKinney (18-9 MMA, 8-6 UFC) in July.
While King Green may be deep into his MMA career at the age of 40, he's on a roll. How will he fare this time?
Esteban Ribovics Competing in 20th Pro Fight on Quick Turnaround
In the other corner, Esteban Ribovics is 3-2 in his last five contests. Last time out, he scored a second-round standing TKO of Edson Barboza (24-15 MMA, 18-15 UFC) during UFC 330 on Aug. 15.
By the time Saturday's fight begins, Ribovics will have had a layoff of only seven weeks, 49 days, between outings. Saturday's appearance will be the 20th as a professional fighter for Esteban Ribovics, but it's been less than two months between bouts.
Can he celebrate his 20th professional bout with a win? Tune in and find out.
Rest of the Card
Two other fights round out the UFC 332 main card, a welterweight bout matching Roberto Soldic (21-4, 1 NC MMA, UFC promotional debut) against Khaos Williams (16-5 MMA, 7-4 UFC) and a middleweight contest between Ateba Gautier (11-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) and Roman Kopylov (15-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC.)
