In the second main card bout of UFC on FOX 13, Alistair Overeem took on the returning Stefan Struve in a clash of Dutch heavyweights. Struve, who was having his first fight since being diagnosed with a heard condition, was able to keep it competitive on the feet, but his vaunted guard game did not make an appearance once “The ‘Reem” scored a takedown. Overeem was able to eventually posture up in “The Skyscraper’s” guard and TKO the near seven-footer in the twilight of the first round.
