Caio Borralho Issues Bold UFC 331 Prediction for Arman Tsarukyan vs. Mauricio Ruffy
Caio Borralho is backing his fellow Brazilian Mauricio Ruffy as he gears up to take on Arman Tsarukyan in what is possibly a No.1 contender matchup for the lightweight division.
UFC middleweight contender Caio Borralho is not mincing words ahead of the lightweight co-main event at UFC 331. As top-ranked contender Arman Tsarukyan prepares to lock horns with Brazilian striker Mauricio Ruffy, Borralho believes Tsarukyan is playing with fire if he decides to test his stand-up game. In fact, the Brazilian standout thinks even a brief exchange on the feet could end in a lights-out night for the Armenian star.
Speaking out on the upcoming clash involving his former training partner, Borralho warned that Ruffy possesses game-changing power capable of altering the division in a single second.
"I think Ruffy has the one power, one shot knockout power that he can turn off anyone in the division," Borralho said. "And I think if Arman wants to strike him, even if it's a little bit, he's going to get knocked out."
Playing with Fire on the Feet
It is a stern warning for Tsarukyan, who currently sits near the top of the 155-pound rankings.
