On the internet, there were endless memes last year about how much Dana White loves Jon Jones, as whenever he was asked about who is the best in the division, he would end up talking about the former two-division champion. However, when Jones retired before fighting Tom Aspinall, the dynamic changed.

Despite Jones’ urge to fight on the UFC White House card, the UFC boss didn’t put him on it, which made it feel like there was something off between them. However, when asked about him, White gave his same old response.

Recently, while talking on the Night Cap podcast, Dana White was asked about Jon Jones and how he walked past fighters like Ciryl Gane as if they were nothing. White explained that Jones is very different from other fighters. According to White, Jones is on another level and is one of the baddest men to ever walk the earth. In his words, “Jon Jones is the baddest dude to ever walk the face of this earth. He is (a different man).”

In his career, Jon Jones has won 28 fights and has only one loss on his record. That loss came by disqualification after he used an illegal elbow. However, that elbow is legal today, and Dana White has already said he feels the loss should be changed.

Looking at Jones’ career, his achievements, and the fighters he has beaten, it is easy to see why many people consider him one of the greatest fighters ever. Meanwhile, Dana White has completely ruled out the idea of fighting Francis Ngannou again.

Dana White Rejects Jon Jones vs. Francis Ngannou

White was recently asked on Night Cap if Jon Jones could fight Francis Ngannou one day. Fans have wanted to see this fight for years. Jones has retired but still wants to come back, while Ngannou is no longer with the PFL. But White does not want to work with Ngannou.

“Ngannou is on my Oscar de La Hoya list. Look at the history of Francis Ngannou and the other companies he's been with. He's a bad guy. I don't want to do business with bad guys,” White stated.

Meanwhile, there is another fight Jones wants. He has shown interest in fighting Alex Pereira. If ‘Bones’ comes back and the fight happens, it could be one of the biggest fights in MMA history.
