Jean Silva's unique antics have earned him a lot of eyeballs over time, but they don't impress his Noche UFC opponent, Jose Delgado. Lately, the No. 15-ranked featherweight fired multiple shots at Silva, labeling his eccentric activities as a "disguise."
Delgado also revealed his plans for their upcoming encounter, using one of Silva's noted antics to mention how he would put him in his place.
Jose Delgado Reveals Desire to Finish ‘Coward’ Jean Silva at Noche UFC
Delgado appeared in the latest episode of The Ariel Helwani Show, where he voiced his thoughts about his upcoming fight against Silva at Noche UFC. The conversation also saw the 28-year-old firing multiple shots at his Brazilian rival.
Delgado began by expressing his confidence about having the last laugh at the end of the Noche UFC main event. Additionally, he also mentioned that he would obliterate Silva in the fight to finish him with a stunning knockout.
The No. 15-ranked featherweight said, "I expect violence, and I expect to break this guy, and I expect a freaking stunner of a KO." Subsequently, Delgado shifted to deriding Silva's quirky antics, which often include barking like a dog inside the octagon. He called them an "illusion" and said, "He’s a coward. He needs that mask to make himself feel good. It's a disguise, and it's a farce. I don't respect it."

The Yuma, AZ native predicted that Silva will resort to such antics during their fight. He revealed how he would respond to them, saying, "I put him down like a dog. It's fine. You let the dog bark."
Delgado has put up a commendable 4-1 record in the UFC, but Silva's form in the promotion says that his task would nowhere be an easy one. On the other hand, the Brazilian will also be desperate to cover up the blemish of his agonizing loss against Diego Lopes at Noche UFC 2025.
With Delgado's remarks heating the rivalry, it will be interesting to witness if he manages to materialize his vision on Sept. 12.
