Merab Dvalishvili has Hilarious Reaction to Arman Tsarukyan Pushing for UFC Belt

It's no longer a secret that Arman Tsarukyan is eager to clinch the UFC Lightweight Championship soon. Delivering a statement victory at UFC 331, the calls for Tsarukyan to get a title shot have gained some significant momentum. However, in the middle of all this, Merab Dvalishvili has come up with a hilarious idea for the Armenian fighter. 

Dvalishvili recently had an interaction with popular streamer N3ON. As the duo spoke about various topics, they also touched upon who Ilia Topuria should fight next. While Dvalishvili stated that the UFC must give the Spaniard his rematch against Gaethje, the former UFC champion also pointed out that since Tsarukyan badly wanted a belt, he could give him one of his belts. 

Dvalishvili said, “Ilia was a champion, defended his belt, moved up, finished Oliveira, and then he just went to war. And then you don't give him a rematch? I have a couple of belts. I will give Arman one belt. "

In recent times, Topuria was looking to get an immediate rematch against Justin Gaethje. But with Tsarukyan’s dominant victory against Mauricio Ruffy, things have changed drastically. Despite Dvalishvili trying to favor the Topuria vs. Gaethje narrative, a lot of critics have sided with Tsarukyan getting a title shot.

Tsarukyan has impressed a lot of critics with his work ethic and fighting style. After pulling out of his fight against Islam Makhachev, the lightweight star had to start from scratch and claw his way back up to the top. And now that he has done the same, the likes of Helwani want the UFC to give ‘Ahalkalakets’ his flowers. 

Helwani said in a recent statement, “Arman stayed active, kept himself relevant, took every opportunity that came his way. And then that KO multiplies all of it by 10. You couldn't have asked for anything more. He has to get the title shot next.”
