PFL Africa Set to Return to Rwanda for 2026 Finals

PFL Africa is set to return to Kigali, Rwanda, for the 2026 finals, with the promotion slated to crown three new divisional champions at the BK Arena on Dec. 12. The event will mark the latest stop in PFL Africa's expansion across the continent and a return to a city that previously hosted the promotion's semifinals.

PFL Africa Returns to Rwanda

PFL Africa first brought its semifinals to Kigali in October 2025, with the BK Arena hosting the tournament's penultimate round ahead of the inaugural finals in Benin. The promotion will now return to the Rwandan capital to crown its 2026 champions.

Rwanda becomes the second nation on the African continent to host multiple PFL Africa events, following South Africa, which has hosted events in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Pretoria.

However, Kigali will make history as the first city to host more than one PFL Africa event. While the promotion has visited three different South African cities, its return to Rwanda will see it stage a second event in the same city.

Confirmed Match-Ups for the 2026 PFL Africa Finals

Following the semifinals at PFL Africa: Morocco on October 10, the finalists have been confirmed. The three divisions with championships on the line in 2026 are bantamweight, lightweight, and welterweight.

The confirmed matches are:

• 2026 PFL Africa Welterweight Final: Shido Boris Esperança vs. David Samuel
• 2026 PFL Africa Lightweight Final: Patrick Ocheme vs. Demba Seck
• 2026 PFL Africa Bantamweight Final: Raphael Uchegbu vs. Dwight Joseph

The Dec. 12 event will determine the champions in all three divisions as PFL Africa continues to establish a platform for the continent's top mixed martial arts talent.
