Tyson Fury Credits Dana White for Getting His Fight With Anthony Joshua

On July 24th, Tyson Fury once again returned from retirement. It was a big win for him as he won the fight against Mariusz Wach after his corner pulled him out before Round 8. Since then, he has been waiting for his next fight. It seems the fight Fury once said he had moved on from, against Anthony Joshua, could finally be happening. There is still no official date or event announcement, but the British boxing legend has shared a video thanking UFC boss Dana White.

On his Instagram video, Fury thanked White for helping make the fight happen. He also took a shot at Eddie Hearn, saying he didn’t have the guts to admit that he had nothing to do with the deal. Subsequently, he praised White as one of the best promoters in the world and invited him to the press conference.

In the video, Fury said, “I’d just like to thank Dana White for making this fight happen, making this deal happen with Netflix and getting it all over the line. Even if Eddie’s a little jealous f*cker, and hasn’t got the guts to come out and say he had nothing to do with it.”

Earlier, Eddie Hearn said Dana White would not be at the press conference or have any part in the Fury vs. AJ fight. But now, with the fight looking closer than ever, Fury has said he will personally invite Dana to the press conference. Indeed, it will be really interesting to see the details of the fight and how it will take shape.

Eddie Hearn Tells Tyson Fury to “Get in the Gym” Ahead of Potential Antony Joshua Fight

After hearing Fury’s comments, Hearn didn’t hold back. He said AJ wants the fight in Britain and has already signed the deal. Hearn told Fury to stop with the excuses, get back in the gym, and get ready to face Joshua at Wembley Stadium.

In his words, “But right now, as we sit here, you know, after some moaning and some sulking from Tyson Fury this morning, I think the attitude of Anthony Joshua is, I want this in Britain. And I've signed for it in Britain, do as you're told and honour the contract. No more bulls*it from you, no more excuses, no more lying in bed, screaming and shouting. Get off your backside, get in the gym and we'll see you at Wembley Stadium.”

Subsequently, Hearn added the biggest issue right now is getting Fury to agree to the terms. He says AJ wants the fight in Britain and has already agreed to fight there. Hearn also revealed that he spoke with London Mayor Sadiq Khan about the fight, and Khan is willing to do everything possible to make Fury vs. Joshua happen in London.
