UFC great Michael Bisping narrates shocking "samurai sword" nightclub slashing story from his DJ days
UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping has revealed a scary story involving a nightclub slashing using a samurai sword from his days as a Disc Jockey.
Michael Bisping has recounted a bizarre incident that, according to him, transpired during his time as a nightclub DJ (Disc Jockey).
The UFC Hall of Famer indicated that he witnessed absolute pandemonium at a nightclub, as a balaclava-clad man allegedly slashed someone with a samurai sword.

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping last competed in the sport of MMA back in November of 2017, fighting twice that month.
"The Count" lost his UFC middleweight belt via submission to fellow MMA great Georges St-Pierre in early November. The striking maestro subsequently agreed to face Kelvin Gastelum on short notice, losing via first-round KO later the same month.
Bisping has consistently earned laudation from fighters, fans, and others for his incredible longevity in the sport of MMA, extraordinary cardio, and overall combat arsenal.
The courageous martial artist is also known for having won UFC gold despite having lost vision in one eye, his right eye, during his time as an active competitor.
The fan favorite announced his MMA retirement in 2018 and transitioned to becoming a full-time analyst and commentator for the UFC, a role he was no stranger to even as a fighter.
He's also partaken in multiple entertainment industry projects, making a mark in Hollywood. The U.S.-based Briton notably served as a coach on the UFC's TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) Season 34 opposite the legendary Daniel Cormier this year.

Considering the aforementioned elements, all indicative of his long and storied combat sports career, the 47-year-old is known to have experienced some of the best and worst of the fight game and the world. He's traveled to and worked at various places, safe and otherwise.
Well, Bisping has alluded to a rather strange incident that he noted took place during his time as a DJ at a nightclub.
In an edition of his BYM (Believe You Me) podcast, Bisping and fellow UFC analyst-cum-commentator Paul Felder recently hosted former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker.
The trio discussed various topics, including allusions to the apparent eccentricity of former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka. They seemingly expressed their appreciation for "The Czech Samurai" -- with Whittaker recalling a few famous incidents of Prochazka engaging in what some may consider to be unorthodox behavior in public places.
Whittaker harked back to Prochazka entering a club with a samurai sword for an afterparty following his fight. Felder chimed in and asserted that one could be arrested for the same in most countries.
Meanwhile, Bisping weighed in by segueing into a shocking story involving himself, as well as a nightclub, samurai sword, and more. The Cyprus-born British kickboxing and MMA veteran seemed surprised, adding that he was unaware of the Prochazka afterparty incident. Bisping stated:
"I've got to jump in at this point. It's a little side tangent, but this is a true story. When I used to DJ at nightclubs back in the day -- they weren't the most glamorous places. And in between my sets, I was hanging out at the front office, where, like, people pay when they come in."
He continued, "And I'm there, and then all of a sudden, everyone started stampeding out of the club, just trying to get over one another, just running like crazy. So I got behind where you pay. I'm like, 'What the hell is going on?'"
Recalling the scary happening, Bisping added, "And then a guy walks through with a balaclava on. He'd just been let in through the fire exit. And he's walking through with a samurai sword. And he's just sliced someone up on the dance floor. I swear to God. It was f**king insane... Anyway, sorry."

After Michael Bisping appeared to apologize for digressing, Whittaker smilingly affirmed that the story piqued his curiosity regarding Bisping's past as a DJ.
"The Reaper"-- who's eyeing high-stakes fights at light heavyweight -- inquired about the Englishman's stage name/alias for his work as a Disc Jockey.
Bisping answered, "DJ Mikey B. Very inventive. Mikey B. Let's go!"
