UFC Oklahoma City: How to Watch and Full Fight Card
UFC Oklahoma City take place this weekend. Hank Strandberg presents this handy viewers' guide:
In the promotion’s first trip to the Sooner State in over a decade, UFC Oklahoma City presents a marquee main event between two former champions, as previous middleweight kingpin Dricus du Plessis faces off with welterweight titan Kamaru Usman. Before that, Jared Cannonier looks to defend his place in the 185-lb rankings when he goes up against English slugger Christian Leroy Duncan.
UFC Oklahoma City Main Event
After enduring the first loss of his UFC run last year at UFC 319, du Plessis is eager to showcase the improvements that he has made in the training room. Not content with nothing else but winning his belt back, “Stillknocks” will have to best another former title-holder in one of the greatest welterweights of all time in UFC Oklahoma City.
Recording a hall-of-fame worthy career over the course of his run at 170-lb, Usman is aiming to conquer another division. Although his first excursion to middleweight at UFC 294 didn’t go his way, “The Nigerian Nightmare” has more than proven that he possesses more than enough fight knowledge to contend with anyone put in front of him in the cage.
UFC Oklahoma City Co-Main Event
Despite being 42-years old, Cannonier continues to push himself against the best of the best the middleweight category has to offer. While a staggering 1-3 record in his last four bouts may suggest retirement isn’t too far away, “Tha Killa Gorilla” has no intentions of hanging up his gloves just yet as he seeks to take out the streaking young contender in Duncan at UFC Oklahoma City.
Winner of four straight tilts, Duncan has demonstrated a clear evolution in his skills since losing to Gregory Rodrigues in 2024. Coming off of a huge victory over Georgian juggernaut Roman Dolidze in his last match, “CLD” appears to be entering his prime as he makes his way up the stacked 185-lb ladder.
