DWCS 94 Delivers Fantastic Card to Close September!

DWCS 94, week eight of the 10th season of Dana White's Contender Series, is upon us. As the fall schedule of events continues, the season of Contender Series is getting down to the bitter end,

Including this Tuesday's card, there are three episodes left of the midweek MMA promotion's anniversary season. Live coverage of DWCS 94 begins at 7 pm ET/ 4 pm PT on Paramount Plus this Tuesday night. 

As is customary, five MMA fights take place inside the fabled Octagon at Meta Apex in Enterprise, NV. Through the first seven weeks of this season, 34 MMA prospects have secured their UFC contracts as a direct result of appearing on DWCS.

DWCS 94 Main Event: Camila Reynoso vs. Aieza Bertolso: "Buttercup" Makes Walk in DWCS After Two-Week Delay

At the top of the bill on Tuesday night, the DWCS 94 main event takes place in the strawweight ranks. Camila Reynoso (9-1 MMA,) a double-champ in Samurai Fight House, does battle with undefeated  Aieza Bertolso (7-0 MMA,) a former LFA Strawweight Champion. All DWCS fights are three rounds at five minutes per round, main event included.

Reynoso enters DWCS 94 on Tuesday night having posted a record of 4-1 in her last five appearances. At the moment, she's won three bouts in succession. Last December, she made a successful bid at the Samurai Fight House Strawweight Championship with a third-round knockout of Maria Luiza (6-3 MMA)

Reynoso was then slated to appear in DWCS 92 two weeks ago versus Hailai Wushamo (10-1 MMA.) This fight, however, would wind up canceled in the wake of the latter withdrawing from the event due to unknown reasons.

She's had to wait an additional 14 days to get a shot at a UFC deal and hasn't been in the cage since the night before New Year's Eve. How will she fare?

Aieza Bertolso Takes Undefeated Record to DWCS 94

Across the way, Aieza Bertolso has yet to lose as a professional fighter in MMA. She hasn't fought in over a full year, however.

In September of 2025, she captured the LFA Strawweight Championship with a second-round armbar of Lany Silva (7-3 MMA) during LFA 216's headlining contest. Since that fight, it's been 55 weeks since she won the title.

With more than 12 months away, what kind of ring rust does she have going into this one? Tune in and find out.

DWCS 94 Co-Main Event: Loai Abushaar vs. George Staines: Abushaar Seeks Fifth Straight Win

Immediately beforehand, the co-main event of DWCS 94 takes place at 155 lbs. Loai Abushaar (7-1 MMA) battles George Staines (10-0 MMA,) a stalwart of both OKTAGON MMA and Cage Warriors. The former enters this midweek clash with a 4-1 record in his last five trips to the cage.

He's gotten his hand raised in victory the last four times in succession. On the night of April 18, Abushaar finished Alejandro Quero (5-10 MMA) with a D'arce choke one minute into the third round of the fight.

This was Quero's third loss in a row. Abushaar has a tough opponent awaiting him this week.

International Luminary Aiming for UFC Deal

Across the way, George Staines comes in undefeated in his professional life. DWCS 94 is his third walk to the cage thus far in 2026. 

On June 20, he scored a second-round submission by way of standing rear-naked choke versus Conor McCarthy (7-1 MMA) during Cage Warriors 207. McCarthy returned to the win column just this past Saturday night with a second-round knockout of Dumitru Girlean in Cage Warriors 210. 

Staines has proven himself worthy of a shot at a contract on DWCS with an undefeated record and has finished 90 percent of his victories inside the distance. Can he score another stoppage when it matters the most?

DWCS 94: Ian Escuza vs. Luca Borando: Inka FC Champion With Perfect Stoppage Rate

Also on DWCS 94 Tuesday night, featherweight action takes place when Ian Escuza (7-0 MMA) meets Luca Borando (9-1 MMA.) Escuza has yet to taste defeat as a pro fighter. 

More impressively, all of his wins have been recorded before the bell tolled to end the opening round of action on fight night. Escuza secured a knockout by way of strikes in only 27 seconds' time against Octavio Lopez (4-3 MMA) in the Inka FC 58 main event on UFC Fight Pass. 

With a 100 percent stoppage rate in his career, Escuza is perhaps the most exciting fighter to set foot in the Octagon on Tuesday's card. Don't look away from the screen when he goes to battle this week, because you might miss the finish.

Luca Borando Hoping to Stop Escuza's Unbeaten Run

In the other corner. Luca Borando has gone 5-0 in his last five fights. Much like Ian Escuza, each of his wins in his current streak has been recorded by stoppage. Unlike Escuza, only two of these wins have been first-round stoppages.

On July 4 in Cage Warriors 209, he connected on an elbow to knock Leandro Camargo (7-9 MMA) out inside the opening round. Someone's winning streak will have to come to a close on Tuesday night in DWCS 94.

Whose streak will halt? Only time will tell.

DWCS 94 is rounded out by two other fights, a featherweight contest pairing Ilias Bulaid (9-0, 1 NC MMA) with Erick Visconde (17-3 MMA) and a heavyweight fight matching Adama Diop (6-1 MMA) against Zaurbek Sabanov (4-0 MMA.)
