Super RIZIN 5: How to Watch and Full Fight Card

In what will go down as a blockbuster event, the PFL and RIZIN come together to put on a monumental cross-promotional card in their Super RIZIN 5 show. In the top-billed bout of the night, the both company’s featherweight straps will be on the line as Razhabali Shaydullaev faces off with A. J. McKee Jr. In the co-main event, Mikuru Asakura locks horns with Japanese legend Shinya Aoki.     

Super RIZIN 5 Main Event

Undefeated at 18-0, Shaydullaev stands as a premier finisher in the realm of mixed martial arts, with him stopping every single opponent he has traded blows with. Set to star in one of the most anticipated fights in recent memory, the 25-year old can flourish even more on the international scene should he manage to get his hand raised this Thursday.            

A former figurehead of Bellator, where he was that organization's 145-lb king for a time, McKee Jr. has gone on to become a strong contender in the PFL. Riding a three-fight winning streak, "Mercenary" is dead set on delivering his upcoming foe his first loss and taking home the RIZIN featherweight title.                

Super RIZIN 5 Co-Main Event 

A staple of RIZIN since 2018, Asakura has shared the ring with a plethora of notable names, including famed former boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. After nearly a year away from action, the Japan Top Team product is seeking to reenter the winner’s circle after a previous loss to main event combatant Shaydullaev.      

A true veteran of not only Japanese mixed martial arts, but the sport in general,  Aoki has put on a large number of amazing performances for fans around the globe since 2003. From his glory days in Pride FC, to his respectable stint in ONE FC, “Tobikan Judan” sets out for what will be his 62nd professional scrap.
