UFC 330: How to Watch and Full Fight Card
UFC 330 happens Saturday night. Here's a viewers' guide for those looking to watch the show.
UFC 330 is nearly upon us, and with, one of the most anticipated welterweight bouts this year. In the main event, pound-for-pound king Islam Makhachev attempts to defend his strap against the surging Ian Machado Garry. In the second to last match of the evening, newly-minted strawweight queen Mackenzie Dern also endeavors to notch her first defense when she crosses paths with Canadian contender Gillian Robertson.
UFC 330 Main Event
Making history in his last contest as the 11th fighter to become a two-division UFC champion, Makhachev etched his name into the history books by decimating welterweight king Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 322. Eager to begin a brand new dynasty in a different weight class, the Russian superstar is seeking further glory as he attempts to defend his throne.
Capping off a highlight year in the promotion with two straight victories over Carlos Prates and Belal Muhammad, Garry enters his third consecutive main event with all the confidence in the world. Should he manage to trounce the streaking Dagestani, “The Future” will stand as the second-ever Irish-born UFC champion.
UFC 330 Co-Main Event
After seven years in the organization, Dern finally achieved her dream of becoming a UFC title-holder at UFC 321, where she defeated the equally talented Virna Jandiroba to hoist the strawweight belt above her head. Set to defend her place at the head of the rankings this Saturday, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace plans to walk out of the Xfinity Mobile Arena with UFC gold still wrapped around her waist.
Dropping down to 115-lb back in 2023, Robertson has established herself as a force in the weight class, winning six of her last seven fights. Looking to bring the title back to Canada as the first competitor from the country to hold a UFC championship since Georges St-Pierre, the appropriately nicknamed “The Savage” is aiming to end the reign of Dern in spectacular fashion.
