Charles Oliveira Drops Honest Take on Arman Tsarukyan Face-Off

Charles Oliveira is being called out for not agreeing to fight Arman Tsarukyan. Having already lost to the Armenian fighter in UFC 300, the Brazilian star seemingly got a second chance to level the scores. But as he declined the fight, ‘Do Bronx’ is coming clean on why he never accepted the offer.

Charles Oliveira was Ready to Fight in November-December

Oliveira recently had a conversation with @olhardaluta. Speaking about the situation, the former UFC champion confirmed the report about him being approached to take on Tsarukyan. However, he also detailed that preparing himself within the timeline UFC gave him was not possible for him. Rather, he wanted the same fight to take place during the November-December period. 

“No, actually this fight was offered to me. I said it wasn't very feasible, it's impossible, there wasn't time for that fight. That fight could go on from November to December, that's all that was said. But then what happened with Alan happened, and we soon saw what happened with Ruffy coming in,” Oliveira said. 

Currently, there are no confirmed bookings for ‘Do Bronxs.’ But following his win against Max Holloway, the Brazilian star is eager to get back to the championship scene. And he has recently dropped a huge announcement about his UFC future.

Charles Oliveira Wants Rematch with Justin Gaethje

The current BMF champion of the UFC does not want to wait any further. With two successive wins under his belt, the 36-year-old has called his shots for a chance to become the champion again. Willing to put his BMF title on the line, Oliveira recently called out the lightweight champion, Justin Gaethje, for a rematch. 

Oliveira said, “I was robbed (in our first fight). They wanted to distract me so I would go in there, have an (expletive) fight, and they could crown him champion. He felt my hands, I dropped him and then I submitted him. There's a story there. And now he's the champion. I have no problem with that.”

Surely, with Oliveira turning up the heat, it remains to be seen whether Gaethje claps back.
