In a middleweight bout on the UFC Fight Night 85, Daniel Kelly took on Antonio “Cara de Sapato” Carlos Junior. While the TUF Brazil 3 winner controlled the first round, Kelly and his proverbial “Old Man Strength” took over in the second. The Australian shucked off the takedowns of “Shoeface” – that’s what “Cara de Sapato” means in English – and proceeded to put a hurting on him. This beating continued on into the 3rd round, until the referee put a stop the assault at the 1:36 mark and giving Kelly the TKO victory.
