Dillon Danis and Nate Diaz have aimed trash talk at each other following the former's withdrawal from a fight with Mike Perry at Duel Arena 1.

Dillon Danis' withdrawal from his MMA fight with Mike Perry has led to widespread mockery on social media, with many referencing his habit of pulling out of fights. Among his detractors is the ever-popular Nate Diaz, who aimed an insult at Danis, who, in classic fashion, fired back.

The highly anticipated clash between Dillon Danis and Mike Perry was expected to take place tomorrow at Duel Arena 1. Unfortunately, Danis withdrew from the fight after no-showing the pre-fight press conference. The reason for his withdrawal was later revealed to be a deep open wound on his leg, requiring stitches. However, this hasn't stopped the MMA community from poking fun at him, with former UFC star Nate Diaz mocking him with a post on X.

"Huge p*ssy."

This quickly drew a response from Danis, who has never been one to shy away from trash talk, especially on social media. In his post, Danis accused Diaz of a number of things, including avoiding a supposed matchup with him and allegedly feuding with his older brother, Nick, who is rumored to have fallen on hard times due to an alleged drug habit.

"The human punching bag that can talk. You turned down over a million-dollar offers to fight me on multiple occasions, so shut your b*tch *ss up before I go to Stockton and b*tch slap you and your brother you abandoned on the street. That's why security has to keep you two separated. Unloyal c*nt."

Danis first entered Diaz's world back in 2016. At the time, Diaz was coming off a stunning second-round submission of Conor McGregor at UFC 196. So, in preparation for the pair's rematch at UFC 202, 'The Notorious' hired Danis as a Brazilian jiu-jitsu coach due to the latter's credentials as a grappler. McGregor would go on to win the rematch via majority decision, and Danis became a permanent part of his circle. However, while Diaz went on to fight numerous times, in both MMA and boxing, Danis has developed a reputation for being unreliable.

Apart from his latest withdrawal from the Perry fight, he was also removed from the Misfits Mania - The Fight Before Christmas card after he was declared medically unfit following an altercation with Islam Makhachev's team at UFC 322. Then, back in 2022, he had pulled out of a boxing match with KSI at X Series 004, claiming to have been underprepared. It is unlikely he will face Perry in a rebooked fight, but he remains a big name outside of the UFC, so only time will tell.
