Dillon Danis has sounded off on Belal Muhammad after the former welterweight titlist was beaten by Gabriel Bonfim in the main event of UFC Vegas 118.

Belal Muhammad and Dillon Danis have been quite critical of one another over the past several years.

Keeping in line with the same, Danis has now seemingly reignited their feud in the aftermath of Muhammad's latest octagon appearance.

Belal Muhammad's latest UFC defeat marks his third consecutive setback inside the octagon

Belal Muhammad's most recent MMA bout saw him take on Gabriel Bonfim in a five-round welterweight matchup. The duo headlined this Saturday's fight card, UFC Vegas 118, at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.

Brazil's Bonfim ended up outworking his veteran opponent, beating Muhammad via unanimous decision with scores of 50-45 on all three judges' scorecards.

Soon thereafter, Dillon Danis, aka "El Jefe," took to social media to take a jab at Muhammad, who's now on a three-fight losing streak.

The 37-year-old Belal Muhammad is a former UFC welterweight champion. Going by the moniker "Remember the Name," the Chicago-based fighter of Palestinian descent has often been subjected to opponents' jibes related to the aforementioned moniker.

A number of his critics have often accused him of an alleged inability to finish fights, citing that most of his wins have come on the basis of points. For context, of his 24 MMA victories, 18 came via decision, five by KO/TKO, and one by way of submission.

On that note, Dillon Danis, who's one of his longtime detractors, put forth an X post after Muhammad's latest MMA defeat that transpired against Gabriel Bonfim at UFC Vegas 118.

In the now-deleted X post, Danis made a jibe on Muhammad's moniker. Capping off his post with a skull emoji, Danis wrote, "Belal forgot the name Muhammad."
