DWCS Season 8, Week 3 Results

Another Tuesday night of Contender Series action is upon us. Tonight, week three of season eight takes place from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Inside the United States, the show is seen on ESPN+.

Coverage begins at its regular showtime of 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT. This week, 10 more MMA prospects set foot inside the Apex to try and win a UFC deal from Dana White.

Main Event

At the top of the bill tonight is a middleweight battle pairing Andrey Pulyaev (8-2 MMA) against Liam Anderson (6-2 MMA). This is a three-round fight at five minutes per round.

Co-Main Event

Immediately beforehand, the co-main event sees featherweights take to the famed Octagon when Fury FC alumnus Michael Aswell (9-1 MMA) takes on Bogdan Grad (13-2 MMA, 0-1 DWCS) in the latter’s second appearance on the program.

Rest of the Card

Also tonight, you’ll see a middleweight fight between Marco Tulio (11-1 MMA, 1-0 DWCS) and Matthieu Duclos (6-2 MMA), a bantamweight contest versing Malcolm Wellmaker (7-0 MMA) against Adam Bramhald (13-2 MMA) and a flyweight contest between Jack Duffy (7-0 MMA) and Nick Piccininni (6-0 MMA).

Co-Main Event: Bogdan Grad def. Michael Aswell by Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 30-27.) Grad awarded UFC contract.

Marco Tulio def. Matthieu Duclos by TKO (Spinning Back Kick) at 2:38 into Round 2. Tulio awarded UFC contract. 

Malcolm Wellmaker def. Adam Bramhald by KO (Right Hand) at 2:29 into Round 1. Wellmaker awarded UFC contract.

Nick Piccininni def. Jack Duffy by Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28.) Fight rebooked for season finale, pending agreement from both parties.
