Ilia Topuria gives his take on the specially designed UFC Freedom 250 title belts

Ilia Topuria has his sights set on the custom UFC championship belt crafted for the UFC Freedom 250 event.
Ilia Topuria has chimed in with his opinion about the custom UFC championship belts, which have been specially designed for the title-winning fighters at UFC Freedom 250.
The special fight card is set to be held on the White House's South Lawn in Washington, D.C., U.S.A., on June 14, 2026. It'll mark a key event in the celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence.
The UFC, which is a U.S.-headquartered MMA organization, will be the first to organize a major live combat sports event at the White House -- a venue regarded as one of the most important socio-political places in the United States.
Dana White on the custom UFC Freedom 250 title belts
UFC CEO and president Dana White recently expressed his respect for the U.S. authorities, including President Donald Trump, whom he's long credited as an ardent supporter of himself (White) and the UFC.
Last month (May 2026), White appeared on CBS Mornings and expounded upon the special UFC titles created for the much-awaited UFC White House event.
The American fight promoter stated, "Only four of these belts exist. And then it's got 1776 to 2026. There's 250 stars for 250 years. There's 60 carats of diamonds on the belt. And on the side here is the actual -- it's the White House." White also suggested that the victorious fighter's name would be engraved on the title belt and presented to the said fighter.

Ilia Topuria was seemingly impressed by the UFC Freedom 250 title belts
The UFC Freedom 250 event is set to feature two world title fights.
The headlining match pits ex-UFC featherweight kingpin and reigning UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria against ex-UFC BMF champion and reigning interim UFC lightweight titlist Justin Gaethje. Its winner would walk out as the undisputed UFC lightweight champion.
Moreover, the co-headlining matchup has former UFC middleweight and light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira taking on former interim UFC heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane. Its winner would be awarded the interim UFC heavyweight title, as reigning heavyweight champ Tom Aspinall remains sidelined due to his eye injury hiatus.
Well, Ilia Topuria recently partook in an interview with UFC correspondent and interviewer, Megan Olivi. Upon being asked for his views on the custom title belts created for the UFC Freedom 250 title fights' victors, "El Matador" indicated that he was impressed by the same.
Topuria stated, "I loved it. When I saw it, I loved it. And it has, like, something on the side that says, like, 'Casa Blanca.' And I was, like, how? This belt is going to fit my style. Yeah. "
