Jiri Prochazka has teased a “new challenge” for his UFC return after his devastating loss to Carlos Ulberg at UFC 327.
Jiri Prochazka left the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, with a heartbreak as he suffered a devastating knockout loss in the light heavyweight title against Carlos Ulberg at UFC 327.
The defeat was a huge setback for Prochazka, who entered the contest looking to reclaim the UFC light heavyweight championship after failing twice against Alex Pereira.
However, despite the disappointing result, the Czech fighter appears determined to move forward and has already teased his return to the octagon.
Jiri Prochazka hints at new opponent after Carlos Ulberg defeat
Prochazka took to X and shared that his next fight might be with a new challenge, adding that his previous opponents do not want to face him again. He also revealed that he has already returned to training and preparation.
“None of the last challengers they've dealt with want to fight. So let's move forward and let's face the new challenge. stay tuned. I am happy to be back in the true work. Preparation started,” Prochazka wrote.

Prochazka has been linked to several opponents in the past few months. One such was a potential fight with Paulo Costa for the interim light heavyweight title, as the champion has been sidelined after suffering injuries against the Czech fighter at UFC 327.
That said, Prochazka quickly dismissed the rumor, calling it bullsh*t and urging fans not to believe every rumor they see online.
Prochazka had been involved in a war of words in the past with former champion Magomed Ankalaev. The Crezh fighters' message suggests he will face someone new, so Ankalaev could be that fighter. The Russian bounced back after losing the title and secured a knockout victory over Bogdan Guskov in July. The timeline also lines up perfectly for a potential showdown between the two in a year-end fight.
Another name that could be the next opponent for Prochazka is Navajo Stirling, who is coming off an impressive first-round knockout victory over Jan Blachowicz in August.
That said, Prochazka has kept the identity of his next opponent under wraps. His reference to a “new challenge,” however, has given fans plenty to speculate about as the Czech star begins his training for the comeback.
