Justin Gaethje Says Not Even $100 Million Can Buy a Spot in His Walkout Team

Recently at UFC 331, it was a historic moment when Arman Tsarukyan walked out with N3ON by his side. It marked the first time a streamer had ever been part of a fighter's corner in the UFC, and it quickly became one of the biggest talking points of the night. Now another streamer tried to pull off the same move, but his attempt got shut down fast. Streamer Steiny apparently tried to buy his way into Justin Gaethje's corner, offering $1.1 million for a spot, and Gaethje shut it down without hesitation.

Steiny brought up N3ON reportedly paying $250K to be in Arman's corner, then upped his own offer, saying a million dollars would get him in, and $1.1 million would seal the deal right then and there. Gaethje wasn't having it, telling him flat out there's no deal, he's got his team, and even $100 million wouldn't change that. “No, we don’t have a deal. I have a team. You could say $100 million and we don’t have a deal,” Gaethje said.

For those who don't know, the money wasn't actually for N3ON walking out with Tsarukyan; it was specifically for walking out to a particular song. Ahead of UFC 331, N3ON offered Tsarukyan $250K if he'd walk out to his track "She Wanna Hang With an Indian" for his fight against Mauricio Ruffy. Tsarukyan held up his end, walking out to the song with N3ON right there in his corner. But Tsarukyan has revealed he didn’t receive any money.

Steiny, on the other hand, wasn't pushing any song; he just wanted to buy his way into the corner itself. But Gaethje made it clear that while he might consider an offer down the line, money alone isn't enough to buy that spot.

Gaethje stated that his body and mind don't peak at the same time and right now, he feels like he's hitting his mental prime. He explained there are really two different primes: physical and
psychological. And when it comes to competing, he believes he's reaching that mental peak right now.

The champ said, “There are two different primes: physical and psychological. I do think that I’m reaching my psychological prime when it comes to competing.”

Even with that mental prime kicking in, Gaethje still can't say for certain whether he'll fight again.
