Kevin Holland Tackles Armed Gunman on Halloween Night

UFC star Kevin Holland acts as a real-life superhero once again, tackling an armed neighbor on Halloween night in his latest act of vigilante justice.
This Halloween, there was something much scarier on the streets than ghouls and witches.
Kevin "Trailblazer" Holland found himself turning into the friendly neighborhood vigilante as he reportedly found himself in the crosshairs of a terrifying situation on Halloween night. As per local reports, an individual with a history of troubling community behavior allegedly pointed a firearm directly at Holland. The individual already had past accusations of mistreating local women.
Unlike most people who would simply back away, the battle-tested MMA artist fell back on his raw combat instincts. This time, he didn't save the violence just for the Octagon. He immediately fell into a physical clash with the armed suspect, holding him down until law enforcement arrived.
It seems like Holland has taken it upon himself to become a superhero by night.
A Real-Life Superhero Record
Not surprisingly, this scary Halloween encounter was not a singular incident in Holland's 'superhero journal.' On June 17, 2022, Holland successfully detained a suspect during an alleged perfume theft in Austin, Texas. Soon after, in May 2022, he heroically pulled out a trapped driver to safety after a disturbing 18-wheeler truck crash.
March 2022 saw him disarming and subduing an active shooter who was armed with a gun inside a crowded Houston restaurant. That's not all; he also chased down an alleged car thief on foot and held him down until law enforcement arrived in October 2021.
"Just Another Citizen Trying to Do the Right Thing"
Although Holland put his own safety at risk during multiple instances to deal with life-or-death situations, he never wanted any praise for his actions. According to him, he was just doing the right thing.
"Oh man, no, no, no, just another citizen trying to do the right thing. I laugh a lot even when things aren't funny. I smile when I should frown. Super blessed and thankful to see today," he said, brushing off the applause and 'superhero' title.
That said, Holland has a very clear message to the public- one should not put themselves in harm's way to be a 'superhero.' For him, however, it seems as though he is always ready to get into fight-or-flight mode whenever danger is near.
