In episode No. 4 of the UFC 330 Embedded: Vlog Series, reigning UFC women's strawweight champion Mackenzie Dern and UFC welterweight contender Ian Machado Garry checked in with the UFC staff to go over their fight-week clothing.

Intriguingly, the UFC, in the episode, gave fans a glimpse into the extensive work and fashion knowledge that goes into crafting the shorts, tops, and other gear for the athletes in a swift manner.

UFC seamstress Marshanay Douglas explained her work, which she suggested entails traveling to the place the UFC is set to host its event. It also involves making any requisite alterations to the apparel, per the needs of the fighters competing at the given event.

Douglas stated, "My name is Marshanay Douglas. I am the seamstress for UFC. During fight week, we fit all of the athletes. We travel to every single event. And when an athlete comes in, they go through what they have to wear for the fight week. And then they come to us."

She added, "Fashion has always been something that I was into -- even as a child -- I loved styling, and illustrating, and creating. This is just another part of that."

The fashion connoisseur then met Mackenzie Dern, with the duo briefly going over her fightwear preferences.

She noted, "Most of our operations are just quick alts. Get the garment, get it done, get it back to the athletes, so they can get out there and fight." The UFC seamstress said, "So I love the energy of it. It's crazy."

Douglas also interacted with Ian Machado Garry, and added, "We'll have like, 10 people to check in, and then we're like, 'Go, go, go, go, go.'" She continued, "So it's the team. It's the travel. It's the energy."

Mackenzie Dern seeks her first title defense, whereas Ian Machado Garry eyes maiden title win at UFC 330

Mackenzie Dern is scheduled to defend her UFC women's strawweight title against Gillian Robertson in the co-headlining matchup of UFC 330. It'll mark the American-Brazilian combatant's first title defense, while Canada's Robertson would be looking to make history by becoming the first female UFC champion from her country

On the other hand, Ireland's Ian Machado Garry is set to receive his maiden title shot in the UFC. "The Future" is seeking to dethrone Dagestan, Russia's Islam Makhachev, who's the reigning UFC welterweight champion.

Makhachev is on the verge of making mixed martial arts history, as he's looking to break former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva's extraordinary record. They're both tied for having accrued the longest win streaks in the UFC, at 16. Makhachev could surpass "The Spider" if he wins his upcoming fight to notch 17 straight UFC wins.

The highly anticipated Makhachev vs. Garry showdown is set to headline UFC 330, which will transpire at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia on August 15.
