Max Holloway has never been one to hold his tongue when MMA managers start playing fantasy matchmaker, and he certainly wasn't going to let Ali Abdelaziz’s latest hot take slide.
The Dominance MMA manager stirred the pot during a podcast appearance by claiming that his star client, reigning Bellator and PFL lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov, would step into the UFC and run through its elite. While Abdelaziz took aim at several top-tier names, his boldest prediction was that the undefeated Dagestani striker would "absolutely demolish" the former featherweight king and current "BMF" belt holder.
While interacting with fans on a recent livestream, Holloway was asked directly about Abdelaziz’s eyebrow-raising assessment. The Hawaiian star gave a blunt, short, and sweet response that captured his immediate thoughts on the matter.
"Ali don't know sh*t about fighting," Holloway quipped.
