The MMASucka podcast is back with a bumper episode this week. Tim Wheaton and Frazer Krohn break down the blockbuster Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte fight this past weekend. In the fight itself, Fury dominated, using his size, elusive skill and reach to nullify Whyte’s game on his way to a sixth-round knockout. They go on to discuss what could be next for Tyson Fury, whether it will be Oleksandr Usky, Anthony Joshua or even Francis Ngannou.

They then go on to both Bellator cards that went down this past weekend, discussing Liz Carmouche‘s title fight win as well as Cris Cyborg‘s big win. They go on to discuss how good Raufeon Stots looked as well as Patchy Mix‘s upset victory over Kyoji Horiguchi.

Taylor vs. Serrano

The historic Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano goes down this weekend from Madison Square Garden in New York. It marks the first time that women will headline in MSG. Unfortunately, the fight will only be 10 rounds and will only have two-minute rounds, which the guys discuss in great length. They then briefly mention the strength of the undercard, something that Fury/Whyte lacked this past weekend. The Taylor vs. Serrano fight will be arguably the biggest night in women’s boxing history and we can’t wait!

UFC Fight Night

The guys then look ahead to this weekend’s UFC fight night card where we see Marlon Vera take on Rob Font. The bantamweight clash is certainly exciting and will see two top 10 135ers look to kick on into a solidified top 5 spot. Elsewhere on the card, friend of MMASucka, Tristan Connelly returns for a second featherweight clash.
