Movsar Evloev Makes Big Adjustment Ahead of UFC 333 Title Fight Against Alexander Volkanovski

Movsar Evloev, who has won all 10 of his UFC fights by decision, was hoping to secure his first finish inside the octagon when he faces Alexander Volkanovski next weekend.
Now, just days before the biggest bout of his career, heās changed his game plan.
What is Movsar Evloev planning to do at UFC 333?
Movsar Evloev, during a recent sit-down with MMA Junkie, said that he wonāt be looking to finish the current and two-time UFC Featherweight Champion on Oct. 24 in the main event of UFC 333. Instead, he wants to go the entire 25 minutes and beat Volkanovski over five rounds. He said:
"I was looking for a finish. But when I hear that kind of talk, I don't want to finish. I want to prove that he's not special. I can beat him too over 5 rounds. He's confident, and I like that confidence. But me too. And only fight day will show whose confidence works better... In all 10 of my fights, I have won by decison. It wasn't luck."

Why has Movsar Evloev decided not to secure a finish at UFC 333?
In the last few weeks, "The Great" has said in multiple interviews that the only way Movsar Evloev can dethrone him at UFC 333 is by knocking him out, and no one in the 145-pound division can beat him by decision.
Last week, during a sit-down with Megan Olivi, the Aussie opined that the undefeated Evloev can beat everyone else in the division but not him, and the 32-year-old is one of the better stylistic matchups for him. Volkanovski also added:
"Heās more well-rounded. Heās got a lot more tools, a lot more things he can do. But all these other things that give so many other people problems, they just donāt give me problems. Such as wrestling, grappling. Heās going to try to try and beat me for 25 minutes. I think itās a pretty hard task, especially for anyone in my division... I just donāt think anyone can beat me for 25 minutes. I know thatās his usual path to victory. Thatās just not happening with me. I truly do believe that. I got a lot of respect for him. I got a lot of respect for his skills, but those skills just arenāt effective for me."

Movsar Evloev has taken issue with the above comments and is now game to prove Alexander Volkanovski wrong, come fight night, and thus wants to beat the latter over five rounds.
