“One or two more”: Caio Borralho reveals how close he is to UFC middleweight title shot
Caio Borralho has revealed his plan to fight at UFC 334 and believes one or two more wins could put him in position to challenge for the UFC middleweight title.
The UFC middleweight division is currently the most exciting division in the promotion, with several contenders in the title mix and probably just one or two wins away from getting the title shot against the reigning champion Sean Strickland.
Caio Borralho is one of those contenders. He recently expressed that he believes he is within striking distance of a UFC gold opportunity, but knows he still has work to do before getting his shot at the belt.

In his recent appearance on MMA Fighting, Borralho expressed that he wants to fight at Madison Square Garden at UFC 334, while sharing that he wants someone from the top 10 middleweights.
“I want to fight in MSG, Madison Square Garden, so this is the perfect thing for me. I think I need to do my work, you know. Anyone from the top ten, I would accept the fight, so I'm just waiting for the UFC to give me a name, and then we're going to accept right away, doesn't matter who. It just needs to make sense for me, for the company, and for the division,” Borralho said.
Furthermore, Borralho highlighted his UFC career and feels that he is just one or two more victories away from guaranteeing him the next shot at middleweight gold.
“I had like seven straight wins, and then I lost. Now I have a good win against Ridder, that did very good last weekend, and I think one or two more, and I'm on the way to the belt, and I'm just waiting for the name,” Borralho asserted.

He bounced back from defeat and secured a dominating victory over Reinier de Ridder.
The Brazilian star was recently called out by former UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev, and Borralho has shown interest in a potential fight.

Khamzat Chimaev lost his title to Strickland at UFC 328. He is targeting a rematch, but it's unlikely the UFC will book it. So Chimaev called out Strickland and three other top contenders, including Borralho, on X.
The X post caught the Brazilian's attention, and he has accepted the challenge, expressing his willingness to face him at UFC 334 or UFC 335.
"Finally, someone called my name! My brother u know I love you, and I'm ready MSG November or T-Mobile December! Just let me know," Borralho wrote on X.
