Paulina Wisniewska Returns to Action in Chicago

Polish star, Paulina Wisniewska returns to action in Chicago next week as she takes on Australian, Chelsea Hackett.
Polish star Paulina Wisniewska is set to return to the PFL cage for the second time this year when she faces off against Chelsea Hackett. The two flyweights will throw down on the undercard of Liz Carmouche vs Jenna Bishop 2.
Wisniewska was the 2024 PFL Europe flyweight champion after she blitzed through Valentina Scatizzi in just 20 seconds in the final.
Hackett has a record of 5-3-1 and snapped a two-fight losing streak last time out when she defeated Andrea Vazquez in Belfast.
There’s little denying that Hackett has fought the better opposition having had a chance on Dana White’s Contender Series, as well as facing off against Jenna Bishop and Dakota Ditcheva which a part of the PFL roster. With that being said, she knows how to lose and lose in dominant fashion. Wisniewska, on the other hand, has only tasted defeat once, a highly contentious split decision against Sabrinna de Sousa.
Expect a stand-up war in this one where neither woman takes a step backwards. They both love to fight and that will be on show when the flyweights meet in the middle.
PFL Chicago
The PFL Chicago card is solid. Atop the bill will be Liz Carmouche and Jenna Bishop meeting in a rematch for the vacant PFL flyweight belt. It is marred by the fact that Dakota Ditcheva won’t be competing for it, but let’s hope that the Brit doesn’t suffer any more injuries and can return to compete for the belt soon.
The co-main event features undefeated featherweight Timur Khizriev. The 18-0 Russian will meet 17-3 Brazilian, Gabriel Braga. The latter picked up a win last time out against Cheyden Leialoha. Khizriev hasn’t competed since 2024 when he beat Brendan Loughnane to pick up the 2024 featherweight tournament championship and on his way to beating the Brit, he picked up a win over Braga. This rematch should be highly competitive.
Other highlights on the card see the return of Abraham Bably, Shannon Clark looking to continue her winning run and plenty more competitive match-ups.
