On September 21, 2013 UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones will put his title on the line against Alexander Gustafsson. However, it seems like in his time off he has put on some weight. Jones has been recovering from toe surgery after his UFC 159 victory against Chael Sonnen and has stated he is, “the laziest man in the world until it’s time to work hard.” Followed by, Well maybe not the laziest, I definitely needed time to recover. I’m thinking about taking a before picture so you guys can see my level of #skinnyfat a little self-conscious.” “Bones” posted the picture below on his official Twitter page.

One may remember a photo that went viral prior to that UFC 159 match-up last April with him and fellow UFC fighter Sara McMann showing off their super-hero like abs.
The champ has some work ahead of him to get back into that shape prior to his September 21 fight at the Air Canada Center in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
