Sean Strickland shares an important update about his latest road accident involving a friend.
Sean Strickland just became the UFC Middleweight Champion. Taking some time off from fighting, âTarzanâ looked to enjoy his life. Unfortunately, those plans seem to have suffered a setback as the UFC champion recently got involved in an accident. Whatâs more concerning is that Strickland also suffered several injuries to his head and shoulder.
Strickland recently uploaded a video on social media claiming that he was involved in a road accident. âTarzanâ pointed out that he was sitting on the passenger seat of a side-by-side which was driven by his friend.
The vehicle reportedly rolled over, causing Strickland to bump his head several times. He also pointed out that there might be a resultant concussion.
âI am real f***** up, dude. We rolled like six times. That was from my head smacking the f***** ground. Oh yeah, I am f***** up, guys. I am really f***** up,â Strickland said in a video. He also added, âI let my buddy drive, and he rolled us going 60, we rolled like 6 times.â
Thankfully, his subsequent uploads cleared the air of tension significantly. Strickland claimed that he was feeling good. The UFC star also added that he is good enough to hit the gym and spar tomorrow.
Sean Strickland Already Training for His Next Fight
Strickland recently clinched the UFC middleweight title by defeating Khamzat Chimaev. But the champion already seems to be locked in on his upcoming fight. In a recent update, Strickland pointed out that he was back to his full-fledged training regimen. While there are no announcements about his next fight yet, the update can only mean one thing.
Strickland is not wasting time and is working on bettering his craft further. At the moment, Nassourdine Imavov looks like the next in line for Strickland. Coming in with a five-fight winning streak, Strickland does not want to take Imavov lightly. Especially when the fighter has knocked out the likes of Israel Adesanya previously.
