Tyson Fury Sees an Extremely Low Possibility of the Anthony Joshua Fight Happening
After updating fans about Anthony Joshua's intent to pull out, Tyson Fury clarified that he is almost sure that their fight wouldn't happen.
Tyson Fury recently provided some "Breaking News" about his upcoming December 11 fight and announced that his scheduled opponent, Anthony Joshua, was trying to forfeit the matchup. However, 'The Gypsy King's' latest comments about the state of the fight indicated that it is just on the verge of fizzling out.
Tyson Fury Sees a 1% Chance of the Anthony Joshua Fight Materializing
The complications in the process of negotiating the Fury vs. Joshua fight started with Eddie Hearn's objection to the UFC CEO, Dana White's involvement in promoting the fight. However, White displayed no signs of backing down as Fury's promoter, Turki Alalshikh, authorized him to promote the fight.
Both Hearn and White have expressed their own side of the story amid their public appearances, firing shots at the other. The two have also been extremely adamant regarding their stances on this issue, with White once saying nobody could "stop him" from promoting the fight.
A day ago, Fury shared a video on social media saying Joshua and Hearn were trying to pull out of the matchup due to the aforementioned disagreement. Additionally, another recent video of Fury's conversation related to the fight showed that he had almost given up hope about its materialization.
Besides calling Hearn's demand to sideline White from the fight "ridiculous," Fury stated that he sees just a "1%" chance of the fight actually happening.
"How ridiculous does that sound? A spoiled little posh boy chucking his dummies out of the pram because Dana White's involved," Fury said. "If Eddie wanted to promote this fight and do it on his terms..., then he should've put up the money. But because he doesn't have the money to do it, I know a man who does: Turki Alalshikh. One percent. Yeah."

Subsequently, Fury switched to his unfiltered mode and hurled an array of insults at his adversary, calling Joshua a "nugget," a "proper pu**y" and more. The former WBC heavyweight champion also provided another important update about the matchup.
In his previous video, Fury also revealed that Alalshikh had already started looking for heavyweights who could step in to replace Joshua as his opponent. 'The Gypsy King' elected David Benavidez as a suitable replacement in his latest video, opining that 'The Mexican Monster' could finish 'AJ' in three rounds.
Fury stated, "I already heard last night that they were trying for replacements, all the big names like David Benavidez. Fuc*ing, what a fight that would be. David Benavidez is a four-to-five-times harder fight than Joshua. I'll take it. Benavidez stops Joshua in about three rounds."
Despite Fury having just 1% hope about the materialization of his fight with Joshua, the latter's pullout can only be confirmed after an official statement from him or Hearn. If it happens, it will be interesting to see whether Benavidez actually becomes the one to replace 'AJ,' or if some other "real man," according to Fury, accepts the challenge.
