UFC Champ Sean Strickland Wastes No Time, Back Sparring Just One Day After Accident

Undoubtedly, Sean Strickland is someone whose personality shows that he is made for fighting. The middleweight champion loves adrenaline-filled activities, from range shooting to riding bikes. Recently, Strickland was involved in an accident and suffered several injuries to his head and shoulders. However, it seems like ‘Tarzan’ has already brushed off the injuries. Just one day later, he was back in the gym and started sparring again.

Sean Strickland Is Already Back Sparring Just One Day After Accident

On social media, Strickland shared a video talking about the accident. He said he was badly hurt after the vehicle rolled around six times and his head hit the ground. ‘Tarzan’ also explained that he let his friend drive, but the car was going around 60 mph before they crashed and rolled several times.

However, the middleweight champion appeared at the gym and engaged in a sparring session the day following this incident. Even so, he is aware that he is not fit to spar. It shows just how much he enjoys fighting.

"I really should not be sparring right now," Strickland joked as he sparred without a shirt, showing off his cuts. He is currently getting ready for his second title defense. Fans, on the other hand, think it's not a wise decision.

Khamzat Chimaev Wants Imavov vs. Strickland Winner Next

After the unexpected loss at UFC 328, Chimaev said he wants to fight whoever wins the upcoming potential Imavov vs. Strickland rematch. ‘Borz’ believes it would be a tough fight, but he expects Imavov to win. Chimaev said he would be happy to fight either fighter, but if he had to pick, he would go with Imavov. He also made it clear that he wants to face the winner as soon as they are ready to return.

“I would be happy with whoever is the winner. If they come back faster, Nassourdine and Sean. Whoever is the winner, I want to fight this guy. It’s a tough fight, but I’ll go for Nassourdine,” Chimaev said.

Meanwhile, after the horrifying accident, Strickland might now take some time to return to fighting.
