UFC Vegas 117 Weigh-In Results: Awesome Apex Show Locked in Friday

UFC Vegas 117 is almost here. Saturday night, the UFC returns for another edition of UFC Fight Night inside the Meta Apex. It's the final card from the No. 1 MMA promotion in the world before a bye week for the company in observance of Memorial Day next weekend.

Friday morning, the contestants booked to appear on UFC Vegas 117 faced one final challenge before the cage door slams shut on Saturday when the official weigh-in window took place for the event. Live coverage of UFC Vegas 117 begins Saturday afternoon at 5 pm ET/ 2 pm PT with the prelims.

Main card action from Meta Apex caps the activities at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT. Inside the United States of America, this event can be seen gavel-to-gavel via Paramount Plus. 

UFC Vegas 117 Main Event Locked In at Official Weigh-Ins Friday

Saturday night's main event of UFC Vegas 117 is one of only two all-ranked contests on the entire show. No. 7 contender Arnold Allen (145 1/2 lbs) meets No. 12 contender Melquizael Costa (145 1/2 lbs) for a contest in the featherweight division.

Both contestants in this fight came in half of a pound under the 146-lb nontitle maximum for featherweight contests. This is a five-round fight at five minutes per round to close out the show.

Co-Main Event Also Official After UFC Vegas 117 Weigh-Ins

The co-main event of UFC Vegas 117 tomorrow night also takes place at featherweight.  Doo Ho Choi  (146 lbs) battles Daniel Santos (145 lbs.) This is a three-round contest at five minutes apiece.

It was a banner day on the scales during Friday morning's official weigh-in window for UFC Vegas 117. All told, each of the 26 fighters booked to appear during the card made weight without incident today.
