In a battle to determine the winner of the Ultimate Figher Brazil Season 2, Leonardo Santos was able to show that experience will triumph over youth in his besting of the 21 year old “Daffy Duck.*” While having trouble with Patolino’s strength and reach early on, Santos was eventually able to turn the tables, flip the young prospect onto his back, and eventually work towards the armbar finish. With that submission victory, Leo Santos earned himself a six figure UFC contract and a place in the collective heart of Brazil for his outpouring of emotion in the post-fight interview.
