Paddy Pimblett and Luke Riley’s wild reaction goes viral as their teammate George Staines delivers a spectacular slam knockout on DWCS 94.
UFC star Paddy Pimblett and UFC featherweight Luke Riley flew down to Las Vegas to support their teammate George Staines, who was competing against Loai Abushaar at Dana White's Contender Series (DWCS) Season 10, Week 8, to earn himself a UFC contract.
Pimblett and Riley sat in the front row, witnessing Staines' matchup against Abushaar, and they had plenty to celebrate as their teammate delivered an insane slam knockout to secure the victory.

Staines made quick work of Abushaar. He picked him up and slammed him, leaving him unconscious, and the Brit fighter followed up with ground-and-pound strikes. The referee stepped in and stopped the fight at one minute, one second of the first round, awarding a TKO victory to the former cage warrior.
Pimblett and Riley, who were sitting cageside, had a perfect view of the spectacular finish.
No sooner did Staines get the win via slam than the ref stepped in, and the two fighters went crazy with excitement. Pimblett and Riley rejoiced as much as they could at cageside because they were so happy that their teammate performed in such a dominating manner.
The UFC even posted a video clip of the reaction on its Instagram account, with both fighters shown celebrating wildly as Staines secured the victory.

Dana White awards George Staines a UFC contract after spectacular finish
After witnessing a spectacular slam knockout, Dana White heaped praise on Staines, calling it one of the greatest finishes he had ever seen, and officially announced that the British fighter had earned a UFC contract.
"All right, George, you were up against a massive guy at 155 lbs," White began, "and you absolutely destroyed him! One of the greatest finishes ever! You made it look easy! Congratulations and welcome to the UFC!" White said.
With the finish, he earned the UFC contract and extended his professional MMA record to 11 wins, maintaining his undefeated record.
Staines comes from the same gym as Pimblett and Riley, Next Generation MMA Liverpool. The gym has had incredible success in recent times in the UFC, and now that 'Saint' has earned his contract on DWCS 94, it's only uphill for the gym in the promotion, with many of its fighters looking to get signed in the near future.
