Yoel Romero reveals his code to greatness before Darren Till fight at BKFC 94 Manchester

Yoel Romero has opened up about his code to greatness in a moving message for fight fans.

The veteran combat sports athlete's message comes during the fight week of his highly anticipated return to the BKFC's Squared Circle, as he takes on fellow MMA veteran Darren Till. The Till vs. Romero bare-knuckle boxing match will headline BKFC 94 Manchester in Manchester, England, on September 26.

Yoel Romero is known to possess the distinction of having achieved success in multiple combat sports in his athletic career. He notched Olympic silver in the 85 kg category in the sport of freestyle wrestling way back in the year 2000. Furthermore, the Cuban combatant went on to challenge for UFC gold in the middleweight division during his time in the MMA organization. 

Presently, Romero is set to headline what many believe is one of the biggest fight cards of the year, as the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) returns to England with BKFC 94. 

Speaking to the BKFC's Patricia Duong, Romero jestingly performed his barking taunt, seemingly harking back to his post-fight victory celebration after he knocked out Melvin Manhoef in their Bellator MMA clash back in 2022. 

Well, during his conversation with Duong, Romero was also asked for his message to the fans before his main event matchup. "Soldier of God" responded by revealing his code to greatness, notably including a heartwarming message of guidance to serve one's family. 

Romero stated, "First off, I would like to tell the people to live a life of love and not hate. Live a life of discipline. Live a life loving God and loving your neighbor. And within you, the need to love your family and also take care of your family." 

The 49-year-old added, "These are the principles of the human being. When you have that, the best dreams that you have will come true."

Yoel Romero and Darren Till seek bare-knuckle fighting glory in pivotal clash at BKFC 94 Manchester

Yoel Romero and Darren Till are both beheld as veterans of the mixed martial arts realm. Nevertheless, a number of fans and experts have warned that the dynamics of combat in gloveless fights present a different kind of challenge that even some of the most experienced fighters find tough to navigate.
